My name is Colton Kirby. I am a Senior at South Caldwell High School.
I am now and have taken honors classes throughout high school. I'm also taking a continuing education class on Saturdays. I thrive on working with my mind and my hands to create and complete many projects on the farm, where I live.
I'm currently 17 years old, 6'4" and weigh 305lbs. I have played football since kindergarten and have loved every year of it. Through my career I have gone to any length to improve and help my team to succeed and see no end in doing so.
I look forward to an equally challenging and rewarding future in football and hope to continue both my education and my football career at the college level. Throughout optimist, middle school, Football University, and high school coaches have placed a great deal of trust and responsibility and looked to me to help run the team and I have always done my best to never disappoint the coach, the team or my parents. In sports its said one of the greatest abilities to have is availability!
in the 46 school and FBU football games that I've started I have never missed a play from injury to include torn abdomen muscles, and dislocated shoulder that was popped back into place while getting the next play in the huddle. I always strive to and take pride in knowing my job and responsibilities as well as those of my teammates. In those 46 games I have only been penalized 6 times, five false starts/offside and one illegally down field.
My goal is to study engineering and have a deep interest in Criminal Justice and forensic science.
At this time, I am looking forward to finding a team, coach and a academic program for the upcoming 2018 college year. I am anxious to begin the next step in my future.
