My name is John Christopher Monroe, I am a rising senior at East Forsyth High School where I play offensive tackle and guard. I started playing football my freshman year of high school when I was approached by Coach Willert about playing for the school and have been ever playing since. Playing football has helped me to build life skills and character traits, including determination and optimism. Football has been a positive outlet for me to cope as my mother has been hospitalized since my sophomore year. I’ve had the opportunity to make great friends and understand the value of working as a team, all while building my strength mentally and physically. After graduating high school, I plan to attend a four-year university where I can participate in ROTC and major in Criminal Justice. I believe I am a great candidate for your football team because I am ambitious, hard working, possess leadership skills and am adaptable to all situations presented to me.
