Ethan Lunsford '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan Lunsford. I am a senior at Sun Valley High School in Union Co. NC. I'm a straight "A" student and currently have a 4.479 GPA. I have been playing the game of football since I was seven and have turned something that was once just recreation into something I have a lot of love and passion for. Football has not only changed my life for the better but has become a part of my daily pattern. Playing football in college has been a long term goal and dream for me! These past couple of years, I've gone the extra mile doing everything I can to reach that goal. Whether it's my morning lift regiment at Strength Empire, or the countless hours of field work, every rep and movement is a step closer to playing on a collegiate level. I will do whatever it takes to reach that. I have been a starting varsity linebacker and defensive captain for two years. I led my team in tackles for loss, sacks, and solo tackles. I feel what separates me from the average player is my aggressiveness combined with my football intelligence and ability to read the line and field. My ability to recognize offensive formations and the plays that stem from those formations is what allows me to know where the ball is going and how it's going to get there. My love for the game is endless and I don't plan on letting it end in high school. With your help, I can achieve that goal and make my dreams come true!
