Personal Statement

I am a 6'2" safety from Morganton, NC. My best 40 time is 4.48 seconds at East Carolina and best vertical is 36". My greatest accomplishment is being selected to the 2010 NC/SC Shrine Bowl team. I bench 305 and work very hard off season on my speed and strength to prepare for the next season. Football has been my passion since I was 6 years old. I have started at Patton High all 4 years. My greatest accomplishment to date is being selected to the 2010 Shrine Bowl Team- for which I am honored.

I have a 3.75 GPA and I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of chemistry and/or pre-med.

Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I am a team player that tries to lift up the players around me. My coaches have given me the tools and encouragement through their wealth of experience and I will do my best to make them proud of me as a college player and a person in life.
