My name is Aiden Cloninger a 6’1” 185lb ATH from Gastonia, North Carolina. I aspire to work in the business or medical field after college. I have worked hard in the classroom preparing for college taking honors and AP classes the past four years. College football has always been a major goal of mine and through hard work both in and outside of the classroom, I know it is attainable.
On the field, I try to be a leader for my team and consistently show up to do my job whether on offense or defense. Attitude and culture are key so I try to be an example for my team. Off the field, I try to continually improve on my skills whether training with former NFL and NC State football player Tremayne Stephens, lifting weights, or being active in other sports like baseball and swim.
This year in football, I am most proud to be a leader for our high school team as a captain and work together to make it to the playoffs. I also made All Conference Honors as a WR and was named as one of the Gaston Gazette Players of the Week in September. For our team, I also received blocking and special team awards. I look forward to continuing to my education and football career at the next level in the fall of 2022.
