I started playing football when I was 6 years old, I started playing so that I would "become tougher" as my dad would say but also because my brother played it and I wanted to be just like him. Since then, not only has football gave me the opportunity to compete against others, and hang out with friends, but it also allowed me to learn many life lessons that I use today. Football taught me that in life, you have to keep a hard head, and when the going gets tough, you never stop and give up. Every day, both in the classroom and on the field, I push myself and try to achieve greatness. By doing this, I hope that I can go to college, compete on and off the field, and earn a degree in my Agricultural major so that I can plan for my future life plans. To my family and I, we believe that football can give me that open door so that I can achieve my lifelong goals. We also believe that this door can help me go to college not only for high grades and academics but for working hard for a position on a team's roster. I enjoy every minute that I'm able to spend on the football field and being able to snap a ball to the punter and/or holder can make that joy being on the field last a little longer. The goals that I plan on achieving are to go to college on a full-ride scholarship, major in the agricultural field, and most importantly, succeed in life. With the guidance of my parents and mentors, along with my hard work and dedication, I do believe I can achieve those goals and hopefully crush many more!
