I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my sophomore year when our team didn't make it past the first round of the playoffs when I strongly believe we should have. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a Wide receiver/Safety capable of playing at the college level. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership the year with losing early in the playoffs. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
If you want something you have to work for it, that was the motto in my household growing up. Playing football has taught me a lot about myself. Not just how athletic I am or strong I am but how mentally tough I am how I can handle adversity when times are tough. My academic goals for high school is to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher, be an all A student and graduate top 20 in my class. Nothing will change when I go to college, I want to excel not only on the field but in the classroom also. Football won’t last forever, education will. I can always go back to school for anything I want.
