Growing up in the family I have, sports have always been a big deal. Growing up on a ranch really helped me become the athlete I am today. It helped me with my instincts, strength, and my mentality. Ranching and sports have taught me a great deal about the real world and hard work. I learned how to balance my home life, sports, and schooling. I have managed to keep above a 3.2 in my schooling throughout high school, while also being a three sport athlete. School and sports have always been most important in my life. I always expect myself to do my best and learn how to improve, whether it be on the field, or in the classroom. Going into college I expect the same and even more from myself. I plan to get a degree in the medical field, as a chiropractor. With this job, I will still be close to athletes and feel like I can help them with any nagging injuries.
Growing up, my life has been based around football. I grew obsessed about the sport and wanted to become the best football player I can be. Throughout my years, I have had amazing coaches that always saw my potential and pushed me to be my best. My high school coaches have had a huge impact on me. My freshman year, My defensive coordinator saw my potential and started me about four games into the season. I was an outside linebacker my freshman year. My sophomore year, I grew into a middle linebacker, with an itch for getting myself to the ball. Going into my junior year, I was still a middle linebacker, but also a fullback. Going into my senior year, I will be a middle linebacker and starting fullback. I have enjoyed my time as a linebacker and becoming an asset on the offensive side as well. I am looking forward to bettering myself for my team, as well as myself. I'm excited to bring these traits to the next level.
