In the class room and in athletics, I try to be a leader and example to my team mates and class mates by being accountable and responsible for my actions and my peers' actions. I am very self critical and push my self to be better each day in the classroom, which translates to my work ethic on the field.
My Freshman year, my weighted GPA was a 3.7 while taking three honor classes. My Sophomore year, I am taking two honors classes and have earned a 3.8 GPA for the first semester. I plan to keep a 3.8 GPA or higher for the rest of my high school career.
I am a part of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) club and help out with the school events.
When I go to college my goal is to go into the health profession and study to be a physical therapist. In my spare time, I shadow a licensed Physical Therapist to see what they do and what is expected.
My ultimate goal as a football player is to play at the highest level possible for as long as I can. I just finished my sophomore year as a two-way starter, on varsity, playing outside linebacker and wide receiver. I received 2nd team All-Conference Linebacker and plan to work harder to become 1st team All-Conference and 1st Team All State. As an outside linebacker my team runs a four four defense so I can read offenses running the ball but also drop back in coverage. I set my goals very high during the off season becoming stronger and faster. I have a personal trainer that several of us have been working with for the past 6 yrs. In the spring time, my coaches, team mates, and I go to 7 on 7 tournaments competing with some of the best athletes in the west coast. I also have plans to attend several College camps to better myself.
