I have played soccer since I was 4 and decided to try kicking for our football team my junior year (last year) and found out not only did I like it but I was pretty good too. I have worked hard in the past year improving my accuracy and leg strength. I am consistently hitting 50-55 yard field goals in practice and hit a 60 yarder a couple weeks ago- haven't yet been given the opportunity to hit a long one in a game but I am looking forward to it. I am continuing to play varsity soccer so each day after school I go to football to kick and then head over to soccer practice. As you can see by my stats with 2 games under my belt I am 6/6 in extra points and have a kickoff avg of 58.3 yards with a 72 long. 6/9 have been touchbacks. Of note is that fact is both those games were home and we play our home games at the University of Mount Union. I am sure the one field goal I missed( it bounced off the uprights) would have been good in a high school stadium. I look forward to improving each week and feel I would definitely be an asset on any college team.
