- 2013 Highlights
Personal Statement
First, I would like to recognize and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
My name is Weston Hill I am currently 17 years old, and attend Hopewell-Loudon High School as a senior. I will be graduating in 2014 and be looking for forward to playing at the collegiate level, where football is not only a game but is a strong commitment to life and a family of brothers.
In completion of my senior year of football it wasn't any of what I hoped. Although their are many things to be proud of with the Hopewell-Loudon team going 5-5. I sustained a complete MCL tear in my right knee in week 3. However I pushed through the pain and only sat out one week. In playing to the best of my ability, I like to think I was able to help the team out.
Ever since pop warner football I have loved every moment and what it has brought for me. First, starting in fifth grade, I was the only one out of the Tiffin league that was able to play with the sixth and seventh graders for the all-star team. Moving to my sixth grade year I recieved a leadership award for being the strongest leader.
Then to the varsity level, freshman year I was put on all three teams playing full freshman games to the junior varsity, and getting some varsity experience. Sophmore year, I was a full time starter at the right guard position, I recieved honorable mention after having a ten and zero regular season and being the Midland Athletic Leage champions. Junior year, I was a starter both ways at the offensive right guard spot and nose/tackle on defense. After a four and six season I achieved all league 2nd team award for the Midland Athletic League. An additional accomplishment, my team voted me as the Offensive MVP. I expect my Senior year to be a very memorable one.
My goals in the college I want to attend is a strong connection with a very respectable coach and program that believes in my attributes that can fit and grow together.
Overall I dream of involvement in a school that challenges me physically, mentally and intellectually. I hope for a welcoming school that matches up with my values to grow as a person and competetor in the future. My desired major would be criminal justice or a psychology field.
