Personal Statement
Playing college football has been a lifelong dream. I would love to attend college not only to pursue my passion but also enhance my academic career and prepare for my future. I understand success doesn’t only come on the field and all aspects of my life are intertwined. Being a high-achieving scholar athlete is proof of that I value success both on and off the field.
My team is an extension of my family. I want to be part of a family that values hard work and constantly pushes one other, individually and as a whole, toward success. For my team/family, I am a well-rounded player specializing as a wide receiver; I offer speed, height, hands, and confidence. I fit into any style of play and have the flexibility to adapt at a moment’s notice. In addition to these qualities, my ability to play the ball, confidence, and aptitude for the game distinguish me from other recruits. I also realize that the ability to listen and receive feedback is extremely important. I am very honest with myself and will make corrections, implement suggestions, and use criticism as a positive learning aspect to improve.
