Avery Musick '20 Recruiting Profile

Currently a Junior at Canal Winchester High School a suburb of Columbus, Ohio I'm a 2 sport varsity athlete in football and basketball. 

My goal is to find a university that is an academic match for my personal growth goals and also offers me the opportunity to compete at the highest level athletically. 

I'm currently taking AP courses this year with a GPA over 3.8, I've been nominated at my school for National Honor Society. I'm also a part of our school's drug-free club, as a part of that club I get drug tested monthly.

Athletically my passion is kicking. I know I have the ability to kick at the highest level collegiately as I've competed at a high level against the best kickers in my 2020 class through Chris Sailer Kicking and Kohls kicking camps.  At these camps I kick off the ground and my longest field goal in competition is a 55 yarder. I also finished 3rd at the University of North Carolina Camp last summer kicking a 52 yarder in competition only to miss from 55 on my next kick. 

This past season I was named 1st team Ohio Capital Conference kicker, and Ohio Central District Division two 2nd team kicker. 

In addition to kicking what sets me apart is I'm an athlete. I'll be starting this winter for my varsity basketball team, at just a shade over 6 foot I'm easily dunking in warm-ups and hope to get a dunk this season in a game. As an Freshman, I was a starter for the Ohio Bulldogs AAU team that were AAU Division 1 National Runners-Up in Memphis,TN.

To summarize I'm a High-Level football place kicking prospect who loves to compete,  who will be eligible for the most selective universities upon graduation, I'm a leader on and off the court (please reach out to my references),  and beyond kicking is an athletic son of a gun!
