The dedication I have to being a student athlete drives me to strive to be my very best in all I do. I am focused, self-motivated, and have been able to maintain a team mentality not only in sports but in my day to day life. I have a deep rooted work ethic that creates my passion for fitness and an overall healthy lifestyle. I am Lawson Irwin, a 6'0" 205 lb, kicker and punter for the Carrollton Warriors. I play 3 sports: soccer, football, and baseball, in each have received multiple varsity letters. As I have grown into a strong contributor in all three sports, I continue to be an all around player in each area and regularly reevaluate my strengths and weaknesses to be a better teammate and athlete. Conditioning in the weight room and conditioning my mind in the classroom are equally as important to my growth as a person with evidence in my 3.8 GPA . I am in all advanced placement courses and also take CCP courses offered at my high school. My future plans include attending a four year university that will offer an enriching college experience both in academics and athletics. I am confident that my positive attitude, my competitive nature, and my ability to lead a team will translate beyond high school as I want to be a part of a college level football or baseball program when I transition into post secondary education.
