My name is Ben Nash, class of 2024. I am playing Tight end and Defensive end this upcoming season; last season I played Wide receiver and safety. I am a coachable athlete, playing multiple sports in the past, and now playing football and basketball as a point guard. I am 6’5” and currently 235 pounds with a goal to weigh 240 before the football season begins this fall.
Football has led to friendships with others that taught me how to be there for guys in different ways depending on the situation. I am good at picking up on different personalities pretty fast which helps me to know how to relate to people, and especially helpful on a team.
Another essential skill is time management. I work part-time at LaRosa’s pizzeria, volunteer with the Reading High School Athletic Boosters, and have helped with Kid’s Club at my church. I am dedicated on and off the field, and doing my best in the classroom is just as important. I aim to play football for a college or university, earn a degree and then apply and be accepted to a physical therapy school.
