Personal Statement
I have always considered myself to be a hard worker. I chose to go to Saint Charles Preparatory School and to commit to our football program with the positions of kicker and punter. I am viewed as only a kicker but have worked hard and invested time into the position. Ask anyone who knows me and they will assure you I am someone who will support you or help you in whatever you need on or off the field. Good is never enough for me. I know what a near perfect kick feels like and if I don't feel that, I am not satisfied. Ask any of my coaches or close friends and they will tell you how much pressure I put on myself and the work ethic that comes as a result. My grades arent good enough for Harvard but I chose Saint Charles Preparatory School. I could leave and be at a public school and get a 4.00 GPA like some of my former peers have done . My junior year grades are shaping up to be my best academic year yet and I am confident it will be my best year yet through hard work. Many other recruits don't put in the extra work when it is five degrees out, they don't wake up early on a Saturday morning to lift and get some extra work in. I do that and more because I don't just like football and kicking, I have a passion for it. Invest time into me, whether you are a player or coach, and it will be much in your favor. I do want to pursue the medical field in college, I love the science of medicine and am strong in math and sciences. Saint Charles has made me struggle with some areas of science but I assure you I understand and will be ready for college by my senior year. Enclosing, I am not going to be a waste of time, I want to play football and develop a good relationship with my coaches and fellow teammates while pursuing my goals of becoming a doctor.
