Personal Statement
I am a hard worker and always try to push my self to the limit in everything I do. I will always push myself to be the best I can be rather that be on the field, off the field, In the weight room, or in the classroom. After my football career I am looking to be a police officer, so I can make a difference in my community. I currently go to a vocational school studying criminal justice. I recently took up boxing as a way to get in shape for football. i can already see the change in my body and my quickness. i am visual proof of what a mind/life change can do! freshman year i was a fat 5'6 235. I decided to make a change in my work ethic and eating habits.. presently as a junior i am a solid 6ft 220 and still growing and improving. my goal this year is 225-230 4.5 40.. ive been working with a trainer to get my speed up.. my last 40 time was 4.71 but im getting faster i can feel it. My coach tells me I have what they can't teach and thats what he calls "game speed". there are guys in the gym that can lift more than me, run faster than me. My goal is to work harder than everyone and when Friday night comes, that is my day to be the best player on the field! Can't wait to show off my hardwork on the field next year, my senior year! I always made a promise to my mom that I would go to college and play football, and I'm working hard to make that dream come true for all of us. Thank you for your time. God Bless
