I've played football all throughout my grade school and high school years at Crooksville. I love the game, and love the people I play it with just as much. However, school has always come first. As a 2nd grader, I had the opportunity to join the TAG (Talented and Gifted) program at my school. I was the youngest person to ever enroll in the program, and have been in AP courses and accelerated classes since. I want to graduate from an accredited university, hopefully of a large size. I have aspirations of becoming an aeronautical or aerospace engineer, but a computer programmer sounds pretty great too. I have only had a few years of training as a kicker, and before my special teams debut, I was an offensive tackle. I've come a long way from my lineman position, and am most definitely qualified as a kicker. I've earned accolades such as First Team All District in both my Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years. Along with Honorable Mention All Ohio both my Sophomore and Junior years. I earned the award of First Team All Ohio my Senior year. I would make a good collegiate kicker because I can handle the pressure, and because I have been trained by one of the best coaches around. Matt McIntyre played for Ohio University as their kicker, and has coached a few of the greats from around my area. Including Matt Amicone (Class of 2012), and Kody Fulkerson (Class of 2010). He's trained me since I was an 8th grader, and I've made some amazing progress since. He's pushed me all throughout high school to be the best that I can. My character and my pride are the two things that people will never be able to take from me. I've earned the rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America, and have grown up in a split household. My father was in the Marines, and is currently in the U.S. Army Reserves, deployed in Iraq. I want to move to the next level in order to pursue a prosperous career, and also to show everyone around me that hard work actually pays off, and that you can do anything if you set your mind to it.
