Hi, my name is Zachary Pokorny and I will be starting my senior year at Rutherford B. Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio. Due to the strong influence and upbringing of my parents Darlene and Len Pokorny they have helped me strive to be the best that I can be in sports, but also in life in general. They have always told me that grades are number one when it comes to going to college and my future They have always said that if it's worth doing, it's worth doing it right.
I became very interested in football when I was very young by watching football every weekend and then ESPN every morning before school It really is my passion and my love for the game has just continued to grow. My academic goals for high school are to continue on Honor Roll and successfully complete all of my Honors and AP classes while maintaining my high GPA. Some unique characteristics or skills I have heard from my coaches is my leadership skills on and off the field. Some things that I am working on improving is my speed, agility, and endurance.
I am looking for a program that fits me athletically and academically and I look forward to learning more about your program and school.
