Trevor Mills '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Trevor Mills and I have been playing competitive tackle football since I was eight years old. I have also been playing basketball and baseball for just as long.  Most recently I have started running track. From a young age I have always had a passion for football. I've always considered myself a quite leader that leads by example through hard work, effort, and positive attitude. The last couple years I've been chosen to be a captain in football and basketball. 

I've been consistently an honor roll student through middle school and now high school. I'm currently carrying a 3.8 GPA. As an eighth grader I was awarded the highest honor an athlete can achieve from my school. I was honored to receive the Archie Griffin Award. This award is given to one middle school male and female athlete from each school in the OHSAA. The award is given to a student athlete that displays qualities such as integrity, leadership, a positive attitude, academic discipline, humility, and volunteerism. The criteria for this award include multiple sports, good academic standing, nominated by coaches, and winners are voted on by school staff. 

My immediate goals are to help our high school football program get back to the success it once had. My long term goals are to attend a college where I can excel in the classroom and on the football feild. I'm open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
