My dad is the one that first got me interested in football, as he had played it all through middle school to high school. He loved it and other than an injury early in his junior year he had not missed a season. With him and my mom both well educated and worried about my well being, I was not allowed to hit the field until my 5th-grade year. I took advantage of that right away, however, I hit a major growth spirt between my 8th grade and 9th-grade season and my joints and ligaments couldn’t keep up. Leading my doctor to highly recommend me to sit out that season. This sucked, although, it did allow me to fully become ready and end up starting as a Sophomore. Through these many years, I learned that everything is mental if you think you can then you will but it also works the other way. Outside of football, I play basketball and then throw shotput and discus in track and field. In school, I have always done well and managed to keep all A’s throughout high school. My school has a program called college credit plus which allows students to take college classes through our high school, which I am taking advantage of. My goals are to play football in college and go pro if I can. If that ends up not working out I will pursue a degree in biomedical engineering (or something in the medical field). This is not set in stone and I am still looking for other paths. Outside of school, I love being in the outdoors. I love to hunt, fish, ski, boat, and just being around my friends. When I was younger I played soccer and a year of baseball. I hope you will consider me in your search as I feel like I could make a good addition to any team.
