Denzel Hakim '20 Recruiting Profile

I'm excited about my future; both academically, and athletically. I'm used to accomplishing the goals I set for myself by working hard, staying focused, and listening to the people that I consider to be the role models in my life. It is my goal to become the best athlete on the football field that I am capable of becoming, while at the same time making the best grades possible in every class I attend. I know I can achieve this as long as I continue to surround myself with the right people and the right Coaches who will help me to grow into the productive man I dream of becoming as a college student-athlete. I feel that my ability to listen, learn fast, compete with intensity and lead by example make me the best candidate to be a leader on my coach's team. My desire to know the game of football inside and out makes me different. I do a lot of "regular things" differently because of football. Things like diet, exercising, sleeping, studying, etc I do with a intentional goal of becoming better, faster, stronger and smarter.
