Personal Statement
My passion for football started at a very young age. While I was growing up, I was always inspired by my father’s high school career. Looking up to him and all his success in his high school years I was always wishing to preform just as well and hopefully better than he did. My family is a football family, it is our favorite sport and we all rally around our favorite teams. Aside from that, I am fortunate enough to live in a community that not only enjoys football but also loves it. Friday nights are the highlight of the week for the people of McDonald and I always want to make sure they are getting their money’s worth. These aspects have made me not only a football player but also someone who has a love for the game. I pride myself on having a vast knowledge of the game so that I can translate it to the field. Resources like Hudl have allowed me to not just watch but also analyze my game and my opponents.
As I have grown and started to focus heavily on my academics I have made it a priority to always challenge myself. Going into my senior year, I have chosen to take courses that will challenge me rather than coast through my final year. Looking forward to my college career, I will continue to challenge myself not just athletically but also academically. I am an individual who has never backed down from a challenge and that has helped me in all aspects of my career on and off the field.
