Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Andy Long. I am a 6'1", 190 lbs. Junior at Vinton County High School. Not only am I an athlete, I am a student. I believe faith comes first, family second, school third, and then athletics last. Football is my one love. I love everything about the game. I can very easily talk in-depth football with anybody for hours. I believe I am more advanced in understanding football than anybody on my team, even my region. I am beyond dedicated to my team and my teammates. I'm a very hard worker. I lift all year round for speed and strength training. When I'm not at football or school during the offseason, I'm always at my Athletic Prep Training with Jason Prater. During the season, I'm the team captain of the team. I'm a leader on and off the field. My Head Coach, Justy Burleson, trust me with audibles at the line. I'm very confident in my abilities and my team is confident in me also. I help around the community by coaching the midget league and the 5-8 year old flag football. I love teaching little kids the basics of football. In my future, I look forward to Coaching at the highest level I can. That being Pee-wee, High School or the NFL, I will coach football. If you have any questions, just email me at [email protected].
