I was very young when I started watching the Bengals play every Sunday on television. I then started playing the game and learned that it was like a second family. It has taught me many life lessons. I have realized that I am a leader and can really have an impact on peoples' lives. My goals in college are to graduate and also be a good athlete on the field who can make a difference. Next year will be my senior year and I have had to overcome losing a coach I have had throughout my high school career that I really looked up to and admired. The team went without a coach for a couple of months, which set back our schedule, and I am now trying to build a relationship with my new coach. No matter the obstacle though I always try hard to succeed, and am already building a relationship with the new coach that will get stronger as the season proceeds.
I am a reliable athlete who does exactly what I am asked. I am a very versatile player on the field. I play wide receiver, quarterback, cornerback, safety, punter, and field goal holder. I perform tasks efficiently and follow through. I always want to compete and be better than the guy next to me. I always make sure that I do something better than the day before because there is always room for growth. You never stop getting better, so everyday I make it my goal to get better than the previous day. I am someone who never gives up and always does what I am asked to do. When a coach or teacher tells me to do something I always do it and do it well. I make sure to get better and better every time. I am also a great student maintaining a 3.8 GPA, resulting in no eligibility issues. I am also a motivating leader and make sure that not only am I getting better, but those around me do as well. I am always the first one there and the last one to leave. I encourage and empower the guys around me, including my coaches and others involved in the program. Lastly, I always make sure that I am helping and encouraging the young guys, old guys, and even the coaches. I make sure that everyone is involved and on board. Because only together, do you win football games.
