Faith, family and football have been the foundation of my life since I can remember. My faith has kept me grounded and allowed me to appreciate the gifts that I have been given and also motivates me to excel and lead others. The support and guidance from my family have been a huge positive factor in my training and drive to challenge myself both personally and athletically. Football is my passion whether it is training, playing or watching the game. There is so much more to the game than scoring a touchdown. One of the reasons that I am leaning towards a degree in post-secondary education is to extend my involvement in the sport. Another reason is to have a positive impact on students as a teacher and hopefully as a coach. There are so many life lessons that can be learned while training and playing football. I am a goal-oriented person and work tirelessly to reach them. Countless hours in the gym and off-season training enabled me to reach one of my earlier goals of playing varsity football as a freshman. My focus currently is to improve my technique and help my team win a state championship. My future goal is to play at a collegiate level. I am a dedicated, hard working, selfless, coachable athlete that loves the game. I am constantly looking for ways to improve both on and off the field and feel that I would be an asset to any collegiate program.
