Maverick Ellington '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maverick Ellington and it is my dream to play college football with an opportunity to possibly play for the NFL.  I am passionate about the sport and take pride in the multiple positions I’ve played in my ten years’ experience.  I am 6’5”, 280 pounds with over a 7’ arm range.  I’m a hard-working dedicated team player that believes strongly the team is a family and we get the job done together.   I’ve played both Defense and Offense allowing me to be flexible on the field.  My goal, in addition to playing football, is to obtain a Bachelor’s degree that connects me to the automotive industry and allows me to grow into a successful career.  I have held a solid grade point average throughout school life and work hard to earn the best possible grades.  I am different from other players because I play with heart and hope to leave a positive impact on those around me.  I like to volunteer and encourage others to come together as a united community.  I’m excited to start the next level of the sport I love and look forward to working with you to make your team a success.
