Personal Statement
Ive loved football ever since I first started playing in the 3rd grade. Growing up I was always 1 step behind everyone. I never had that starting position, and I had to work harder than everyone else just to be where I was. After 3 years of playing football I finally earned a starting spot at running-back for my team. This was the moment I realized that hard-work pays off and I realized that I wanted to give everything I had to football.
Going into my freshman year I attended every weight session that was held in the off season, and I spent atleast an hour a day learning coverages and watching film with one of my coaches. This lead me to a starting spot on defense playing outside linebacker on one of the best football teams my school has ever had. I was given a few opportunities as a freshman to run the ball but my career as a running-back didn't take off until my sophomore year when week 3 I rushed for 390 yards on only 15 attempts against one of our conference rivals. After that, I knew I belonged on a varsity field as a running-back and I dedicated myself to lifting, watching film, and leading my team to be the best that we could be.
