Ever since I was little I have loved football and sports in general. I grew up in a family of football/volleyball coaches and college athletes, so sports have always been a part of my life. Football has taught me how to be mentally tough and how to face adversity. It has also taught me how to be a good teammate and how to lead by example. By being a captain on the football team, it has taught me that actions speak louder than words. I have an important role to represent my community, school, team, and coaches to the best of my ability.
While I love sports, academics are equally as important to me. My goal is to maintain a high GPA throughout my college career and to be as successful in the classroom as I am on the football field.
Something that sets me apart from other recruits is my high football IQ. This allows me to have an understanding of multiple positions, plays, and schemes in the game of football. This makes me versatile because not only does this allow me to understand my role on the field, but it also allows me to help my teammates fulfill their responsibilities on the field as well. I have played running back, full back, offensive line, defensive line, middle/outside linebacker, long snapper, and kicker. I am a team player and am willing to play whatever position I am needed at.
