Personal Statement
As a student/athlete, I have accepted the added challenges presented both physically and mentally. I realize the athletic aspect of my life can be all for nothing without a good education. My aspiration to graduate as my class valedictorian is something I have worked hard at and will continue on during the balance of my schooling. My athletic ventures have been well rounded starting at a young age which brought me to my real passion in playing football. Becoming a student of the game as a young quarterback has had a great influence on my leadership ability and mental drive. I feel this is one of my strongest attributes and features that make me a strong Div. I prospect. Stepping up to the challenge as a 13 year old freshman to become the starting HS quarterback may have drawn this out quicker than even I expected. I strive to get better with every game, practice, or training opportunity I have presented to me. The need and will to win has been ingrained in my being and will be put to use in everything I do and at any level I move on to.
I have not settled on a single possibility for my future at this time. The benefits of a great education and the positive characteristics of a great athletic career/experience will assist me in the decision in the near future. Staying active and involved with the aspects of my life that may open opportunities for me is hopefully without boundaries.
