Personal Statement
I am a highly-motivated, confident, unselfish player and person who consistently strives to work to my potential and achieve my goals. I am currently 1st in my graduating class of 150, have a 4.0 GPA, serve as my class Vice President, and as a representative on the Student Council. On the football field, I also consider myself a leader--I am a three year starter and letter-winner and always try to set an example through my dedication and commitment in the weight room and in off-season workouts. I realize that greatness doesn't just happen--it results from the small choices we make each day.
My primary academic goal is to achieve a degree in Environmental Studies or a related field in preparation for a job with a governmental agency or as an environmental consultant. My athletic goals are to contribute to my team in any way I am asked, to be positive in my attitude and actions on and off the field, and to develop my knowledge and skills as an offensive lineman in order to put the team in a position to win every time we step on the field.
Most importantly, I understand that character matters, and that everything I say and do is a reflection of that. I realize that the decisions I make impact my family, team, coaches, and my school. This is why I have consistently maintained the highest standards for myself and will continue to do so in the future.
