My collegiate goals are to explore the field of engineering and determine which branch would best suit me. Athletically, I want the opportunity to contribute to the success of a competitive football team. I work hard to succeed both on and off the field, and I would help my team reach their highest potential. I believe the one thing that separates me from other recruits is my work ethic. I realize that there are thousands of athletes competing for the same opportunity that I am; therefore, I have to work year-round to improve myself. An example of my work ethic is seen in that I am currently involved in a speed and agility class 2 times a week during the season and will increase the number of sessions after the football. Plus, I am in the National Honor Society and have a cumulative GPA average of 3.834, even though I have taken very rigorous classes, such as AP Biology and Chemistry and Honors Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. I have been able to maintain this GPA while participating in varsity football, baseball, and being involved in other extra circular activities. As well as an academic achievement I have been recognized for my leadership qualities by my football coach. He selected only four players, including me, to attend a leadership conference during the summer.
