Personal Statement
I would love to find a college I can call home and a team I can call family, while getting the best education possible. I take pride in my abilities to work through adversities, lead others by example, and push hard to attain both my personal and team goals. I love hitting and have always been the aggressor. I love clogging the hole and taking on powerful ball carriers. I am proud of my FB IQ and my ability to read offenses and offensive linemen. I can really feel the flow and pulling lineman. I get to the ball quick and hard. I am most proud that because of my quickness and ability to read plays I cover sideline to sideline with aggression. (PLEASE VIEW MY HUDL VIDEOS). My education has always been important to me. I have maintained a 3.6 GPA (4.0) in one of the toughest college prep public schools in Ohio. I feel I can make an impact on my future college program through my hard work on the field and in the classroom. I look forward competing with my teammates and leading them to be the best players possible.
I varsity lettered my freshman and sophomore seasons at Granville. (#44) I was the only freshman out of 30 to letter. I led the team in tackles as a sophomore and earned many conference and county first team awards. I was the only sophomore in the area to make first team. I am most proud that we advanced in the playoffs both years and they were the best two seasons in school history.
Going into my junior year I decided to push myself and better prepare myself for football after high school. I moved to Upper Arlington High School (#22) the Summer of 2020. Upper Arlington is a Central Ohio Division 1 school in the toughest conference in Ohio (8 teams we played made the playoffs last season). I really wanted to practice and play against the biggest, fastest, and best coached competition in Ohio. It was hard to leave my friends, but I really wanted to push myself “to be the best I can be”. I earned the starting MLB position last year at Upper Arlington and led the team in tackles . I was immensely proud of last year’s team. With a first-year coach and all the covid restrictions and playing against elite competition …we advanced to the second round of the playoffs. I am so excited to continue to help this team and work hard to become a leader on and off the field. I am so excited to now enter my senior year with this Upper Arlington team. I will once again be wearing #44 to finish off my high school career.
