Personal Statement
My love of football may have begun when I was five, but my drive and passion for the sport has grown and developed tremendously over time. This great passion and Football IQ will be paramount in helping me achieve my collegiate goals of attending college to pursue a degree in Sports Media and Marketing
As a player, I pride myself in both my offensive and defensive skill sets. I consider it an honor to have been called “coachable” throughout my high school career. To me, this means I take critiquing well and respond to all feedback to the best of my ability. I am not only willing to put in time in the weight room both in season and off with my teammates or alone, watching film to improve my skills and strive to be the hardest-working player on the field both physically and mentally.
My work ethic and drive continues in my academics. I continued to be on the Honor roll for the last 3 years of High School including the classes taken online during COVID.
I have pushed myself by choosing to take Honors Classes as well as College Credit Plus and continue to maintain a GPA over 3.5. This has earned me a Scholar Athlete Awards. I also earned my Eagle Scout Rank at 15 and continue to support younger Boy Scouts in their pursuit of this esteemed award. Additionally, I am a two-year junior varsity starter on my high school’s lacrosse team. My drive for success continues as I also hold a part-time job while managing my ADHD and classwork.
My college dream is to play football while pursuing a degree in Sport Media, Marketing, or Analytics. The skill set I wish to obtain for my college degree plan includes exposure to media, marketing, and analytics in my quest to apply this degree to the sports industry.
