Personal Statement
I am a class of 2024 inside linebacker/fullback. I earned a varsity starting position as a Sophomore and continued in that role as a Junior. I will continue my role as a leader of our defense as a senior. Grit, grind, and gratitude are some of the characteristics that set me apart.
My grit is evidenced by my adaptability. As a COVID era athlete, I have been asked to play running back, long snapper, linebacker, fullback, and even quarterback with just a few hours notice. Since 7th grade, I have participated in optional early morning workouts-in season and out. As I continue to progress in my athletic career, these pre-dawn betterment sessions come naturally...I embrace the grind! And finally gratitude-the last few years have taught me to be thankful every time I step on the field! I am thankful for opportunities to improve myself mentally and physically. But, even more than that, I am thankful for the chance to serve my coaches & teammates.
Outside of athletics, I am involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, & my church youth leadership team.
I am planning for a career in the military...my TAPS resulted me as a musketeer, which pretty well describes my military mindset. I am a natural defender: personally, athletically, and one day professionally.
