Blade Horton '19 Recruiting Profile

    I am a driven, dedicated and hardworking student athlete who is highly coachable and dedicated to my team and teammates. I participate in three sports (Football, Basketball and Golf) I strive to be the best athlete and teammate that I can be.   I have played football since first grade and knew that I loved the game from the first time I stepped on the field. Extending beyond my sports goals, I am also a dedicated student, who performs in the classroom and aspires to pursue a college education in the field of dentistry.

    I began my high school career as starting tailback for the Coalgate Wildcats and work everyday to help my team improve each week and try to lead by example, while setting high standards for myself and my team.   I am currently enrolled in honors level English II, Trigonometry/Calculus and Chemistry II courses and am on the Superintendent's honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society.  I am taking concurrent enrollment for college algebra at Eastern Oklahoma State College the fall of 2017.  I also volunteer to referee and coach for the local youth Flag Football and Basketball League.
