The 2017 season was the worst season my team has had (5-5) the 2018 season was the first successful season I have had in high school (12-1). I learned that I did not like losing and that I had to do something to avoid it. My junior year my team faced a new group of leaders that pushed us harder than ever in practice and in the weight room. I realized a teammate pulls their own weight and a good teammate does more so I began running and lifting independently. My teammates and I collectively gained a more competitive spirit. I know what loss feels like and as I have said I do not like it, but football has taught me to learn from it. I have felt what it is like to be at the top and bottom of high school football and the adversity that came with it. I am looking for a school with as good as an athletic fit as an academic fit.
