Personal Statement
My college education is very important to me. My plan is to be a game warden. In my spare time my hobbies include hunting and fishing. I love the hunt, in pursuit of the trophy. It takes time, patience, hard work and planning. This is very similar to my football goals, where the time and hard work I put in on myself, getting stronger and quicker, will ultimately help me and my team get the gold ball.
I am different from my average teammates, I practice sportsmanship - it is in my nature to help up the opposing teammate, even if I'm the one who took him down. I'm dedicated, before season, during the summer I go to the weight room at 6am and workout, then I work at my summer job. I have the goal of going as far as my potential will take me. My willingness to be coached and put in the effort will help me earn my way, I realize that nothing is given, it is earned.
Its a little ironic that I played football in the local kids association in 4th, 5th and 6th grade and I hated every minute of it, but I stuck with it. When I played school ball in the 7th grade and I actually had real coaches, this made me love the game.
There are so many opportunities and I want to be part of them. With every game this past season, as a sophomore, I was given the chance to step up and show what I could do. I was player of the game once, which was awesome. I've scored and had some great blocks too. I love the excitement and the adrenalin from a great game and getting my teammates excited and winning, Its great! I just love the game!
