I am a 6'3", 190 pound quarterback and safety from Christian Heritage Academy (Class 2A) in Del City, Oklahoma. I love my school and have attended it since first grade. It has challenged me both academically (2.81 GPA) and athletically. It has also been a valuable tool in teaching me strong character and resilience when faced with adversity. Some have been critical over the years of my parent’s decision to enroll me and my siblings in this school because of limited athletic opportunities; but I am truly grateful for my parent’s sacrifice and have always felt it was important to work my hardest and leave the rest up to God and my parents for my future career.
I have started on varsity since the last two games of my freshman year. This opportunity was given to me after leading my team to a come from behind victory in the second half of a very important game. I stepped in with confidence that I could encourage my team to be the very best we could be. I seized the opportunity in my first start with a first half TD run and by throwing four TD passes in the second half for a 46-27 victory.
I think my greatest attributes are accuracy with the football, my swift decision making, and my ability to motivate my teammates. I can also run very well (4.59 40 time) and just plain love the game of football. I strive to put 100% into every second I am on the field. I have had a strong desire to play football in college since I began playing little league football at the age of 7. It has always been my practice to leave everything on the field and encourage my teammates to do the same. I would love the opportunity to play football for you and will do my very best to make my coaches and team successful. Obviously I am keeping open all options, but would love to play close enough to home that my parents, especially my dad could attend. I hope you will give me the opportunity to join you in making that a reality. Thank you for your time and consideration!
