The Duncan Demons finished the 2019 year with a 6-4 record, making the playoffs for the 2nd straight year. It was a privilege to return to the field after missing my entire sophomore season due to a significant shoulder injury. I was starting center most of the year but also played as guard a few times when I was needed.
I've entered my senior year after completing a rigorous and productive off-season. Given the current climate with COVID-19, each game is a blessing. We have already played a few but we've had some cancellations as well. I work hard each week with the physical and mental intensity necessary to be ready to play each week, no matter what. As a senior captain and starting center, I take my leadership role very seriously. I play an important part in keeping our team motivated, upbeat and positive.
As a member of the Class of 2021, I intend on continuing to play a key role in leading my team to the playoffs and a state championship run.
I have continued to keep academics a priority as I maintain a 4.0 GPA. I continue to balance athletics and academics with school related government and community service activities.
My ultimate goal is to play competitive college football and I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this goal. I look forward to starting my college years as a student-athlete. I am committed giving 100% in the classroom and on the field.
