Drake Stevens '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Drake Stevens. I am a senior at Glenpool High School (Oklahoma).   I've played team football for 10 years now.  I am currently 6', 185 pounds, posted a 40 time of 4.6, benching 250, squat 350, and power clean 250. Ever since I started playing football in second grade, I knew it was something I wanted to excel in. I love the sport and have fun playing it. I know hard work pays dividends, and I strive to lead by example whenever possible.
I play physical and smart, and believe I possess a good field presence. Since I started playing, I believe I've played every position on the field. As of right now I play wide receiver, as well as outside linebacker. I'm also the punter. My freshman year, I earned the spot to join  the varsity team where they took state in '08.  I've started since I was a sophmore at tight-end and defensive end. My junior year coaches moved me to wide reciever and I continued playing defensive end. I excel at both sports and academics. I very much want to go to college, primarily to further my education, and hopefully get to play football too.  I'm currently undecided about my major and where I would like to attend college.
