Guthrie is a class 5A school and I have started in football and baseball beginning in my freshman year through the present. Each of my first 3 years our football team finished ranked in the top 5 in the state and reached the state semi-finals in 2009 and 2010. This year we were 14 and 0 and won the Class 5A State Championship. My primary position was defensive back but this year I started at both running back and safety, as well as all special teams. I had 26 varsity tackles my freshman year, 112 tackles my sophomore year, 107 tackles my junior year and 94 tackles my senior year. I led Class 5A in scoring (30 touchdowns) this year, was second in rushing (1530 yards) and led my team in receiving (33 catches for 447 yards). I run a 4.57 forty yard dash, bench 230, squat 375 and dead lift 435. I am very coachable and probably my best asset is my work ethic. I hope to play at the college level to further my education but an even bigger incentive is the love I have for the game and the desire to continue playing. In pursuing this goal I will consider schools of different size and geographic location.
