Personal Statement
My dreams and goals are to attend college and play football at the next level. I believe that anyone who wants to play football at the next level should have great qualities on and off the football field. No matter what college football team that I am selected to be on, I will bring my ability to listen, to learn, and to be a respectable leader. Listening to those who have come before you is a necessity if you want a chance to go as far as they went in life. Learning is a lifelong process and I believe you can never get to a point where you can no longer improve yourself. I am a natural born leader at heart who loves to lead by example rather than by my words. Also, I realized at a young age that you have to work for anything you want in life. It is because of this that I strongly believe that I would be a great match for any team. I may not be the biggest, the strongest, or the fastest, but I can guarantee you that I will always work the hardest. One of my favorite quotes is by Muhammad Ali, “I hated every minute of training but I said, don’t quit, suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” I have utilized this quote both on and off the field. I take my studies very seriously because I know that it not all about football, that it is both academics and athletics. It is because of this that I think I am different from any other recruits.
