Personal Statement
My ultimate goal is to be a game engineer after football. I'm hopeful that I will also get to play football post high school. I'm passionate about both of these. I believe I'm a good candidate for any football team because of my work ethic, my drive/focus, and my "team first" mentality. I may make mistakes, but it's never been for lack of effort. My coaches use terms like "coach-able" in describing me, but I just like learning the game, or anything that I'm passionate about. Further, I have a great supporting cast of parents, grandparents, and other relatives, who all have been tremendously helpful in assisting me to accomplish my goals and dreams. I know that everyone that plays collegiate has talent, but what makes me different is that I recognize and wholly adopt the idea that it takes zero talent for: work ethic, effort, having great body language, playing with energy, having a positive attitude, playing with passion, being coach-able/learning, doing extra, being prepared, and being team-oriented. In my opinion, this is what separates a good player from a great player. I will not only bring my physical talents to the field everyday, but I will also engage in all of the above.
