I have had a very dramatic childhood and it has had a huge impact on my personality. Growing up without my mom and dad was hard and it caused me to have trust issues, and I also have a hard time opening up to people. Sports is kind of an outlet for me into a happy place, away from the real world. I first caught interest of sports in fifth grade when I hit my first growth spurt, and just started football. By playing sports I realized how much of a leader I could be and that people always look up to me. I know that to be good on the field I have to first be good in the class. For my high school academic career I have set a goal to be in the top 10% of my class.
Being an athlete I always have to worry about people playing and performing better than me. I have faced many obstacles in my career so far. The biggest obstacle I have faced is being clumsy. I have had to overcome and get better at this by working hard everyday and staying committed. My height has always been in my favor and is one of the biggest characteristics that I have. It has always made me stand out among my peers.
