2013 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am a Senior at Ashbury College, in Ottawa, Canada. I am enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program, taking IB High level Math and Sciences. I am bilingual in French and English and use both languages everyday at school and at home. I also speak basic Spanish. I volunteer as Area Captain for the Heart and Stroke Foundation,as well as for a number of other rights-based and environmentally minded organizations.
I have been playing football since I was seven years old. From March to August, I train and play with the Cumberland Panthers of the Ontario Varsity League. In the Fall, I represent my high school on the Senior Varsity squad, the Ashbury Colts. I am also part of the Ashbury Varsity Men's Curling Team as well as the Track and Field Team (Shotput and Discus).
I would like to continue playing football in University while I pursue studies in Chemistry, Materials Science Engineering or Nanoscience. I hope to attend a school that is academically challenging and has an ambitious football program.
