Personal Statement
I am a 5 ft 11 inch senior at Klamath Union High where I played wide receiver and cornerback. My time in the 40 yrd dash was 4.51 as timed by my coach. I recently completed my senior football season as a team captain and helped my team to second place in our conference and into the play-offs where we lost to the eventual state champion. I have started on the KU varsity football team for three years and at the end of this season was awarded by the Skyline Conference coaches Defensive Player of the Year, 1st Team Offense and 1st Team Defense. My teammates voted me M.V.P. and also Offensive Player of the Year. Of importance to me is that I also have received The Academic Athlete Award for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher during all four years of high school while taking accelerated core curriculum (honors classes). My current GPA is 3.952 and I am looking to pursue an education in business with a focus on finance. I have been described as coachable, hard working and a great teammate. My goal is to stay in the Northwest where I can pursue a top level education and make an impact on a football team.
