Personal Statement

Football has been influenced on me all my life with my dad playing and always being surrounded by football. I started playing football at the age of ten and have pursued it for years. I have many attributes that make me a great candidate for your team with one of them being my understanding and being easily coachable with athletic director Mike Hughes from Jesuit highschool saying in an email of interest “After observing only a few minutes of warm-ups, I noted that you were clearly not just gifted but humble. You were open to direction and constructive criticism.” When I first started playing tackle football the first position I played was right guard, playing this position taught me the responsibility you have when playing football and later contributed to my skill at running back. Over my years of experience playing football I have taught myself to have a mindset of confidence but to be humble which helps with my performance on the field. I have also taught myself to stay humble in victory and use losses as a learning experience and learn from the mistakes which led to our losses to better our performances for the future. Finally I strive to be great on and off the field with one of my biggest goals is to focus on my academics as I realize there is no future in football without a good education.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
