Playing football from the time I was 5 years old gave me the opportunity to see football more in depth than the average person would. When I played my 2nd football season as a 6 year old, I was the only returning player who knew the plays so I was named the starting quarterback. Ever since, I saw the game as more than just hitting people and having a good time, but rather seeing the game as a strategic masterpiece where there is always something new to be learned. My biggest asset as a football player has always been my interest in what schemes and concepts beat the other team's play styles.
While I have dreams and aspirations, as many people do, I am a realist. For me, education in college is going to be a major priority in wherever I decide to go to school. Regardless, I am going to not stop working and make it on the football scene as far as I possibly can before my time comes to an end on the gridiron. I will then use the skills from the football field and transfer them to the real world to help myself live a successful and, more importantly, a happy life.
