I am a very versatile person in all aspects of the game and in my education. I can take diversity and use it to my advantage. I can persevere through the challengings and know that being coachable and having character on and off the field is crucial.
I earned a starting varsity position in both football and wrestling my Freshman year. My freshman and sophomore year of football, I earn honorable mention All League for both defense and offense for running back and defensive back and making the all academic team both years. In my Junior year, I have 812 all purpose yards and 12 TD's. I earned 2nd Team All-State, 1st Team Lancaster Lebanon League as a RB, as well as 2nd team Lancaster Lebanon League as a DB.
In wrestling, my freshman year, I earned Section 5th place, district 4th place with over 40 wins and Honorable mention in district 3 rankings and all academic team. My Sophomore season, I earned sections 2nd place, districts 6th, regions 6th and made it to the PIAA state tournament in Hershey, Pa. I have 37 wins and all academic and all league first team.
As a student/athlete I take my education very seriously knowing that without education, I would not have the opportunities I have been given. My family has scarified a lot for my sisters and I, knowing that we could do what we wanted if we put our minds to and heart in it and education has always been important to my parents pushing us to do better than we ever though possible.
My success in education is very important me and knowing that pushing myself harder while playing three sports and having a 3.8 GPA and knowing my education will get me to where I want to be and being an student/athlete is where I want to be.
Best regards,
Michael Trainor
